Cafeterias are available inside the hospital along with the canteen outside.
The hospital processes are very well organized with booking and token systems. Doctor's appointment queues are visible on the screen and name will be displayed when time comes. This is a must needed facility required at some of the other popular hospitals. This helps us to know how long we have to wait.
Cleanliness of this hospital is great. Lobbies and other common areas, toilets are all very well maintained. Even the outside areas are all managed really well.
Location of this hospital is just perfect. Right nearby the NH, Apollo Adlux hospital can very easily reached via road.
We can also easily access hospital bills, lab reports and other documents using an application at all times. This is actually a very useful feature in this digital age.
The doctor we visited was Dr. Elizabeth from Gynaecology Dept. She is a really good doctor and was very friendly, explained all our concerns and was very calm.
With all these facilities and huge real estate, the costs at this hospital seems to be on the higher side and that is expected. Although I have limited knowledge on this as of now. Consultation charges are a bit high when compared to some other hospitals nearby. A few blood tests taken were also a bit more expensive. We enquired about delivery packages available. Although the packages seems reasonable, the additional expenses can be expensive. But please take this point with a grain of salt, because as I already mentioned, I have limited knowledge for now.
Edit: Had to change the review. The token system is the worst. It's not first in first out. They insert people above us as they like. For what priority even god doesn't know. Making us wait as much longer for no reason. Even if your name is in the top of the queue, chances are 5-6 people are called above. High priority patients are understandable. But many are not in that category.
Support was very good.
Canteen facility was good. We got our food in time.
We dont need to go out of the room, we get all assistance to our room.
We have a phone, emergency assistance button and tv in our room.
Totally good.
Feedback from Room number : 1917
Special thx to Carolin Deena Seena........
I visited the hospital for my wife's delivery and the whole experience was quite joyful
There was an emergency during midnight and I made a call to the hospital. In 15 minutes, their ambulance reached for us and in another 15 minutes we reached the hospital
Within 3 hours or so, our doctor arrived and the c section was done as well. My wife and our baby was discharged in 4 days time
Positives:
Excellent doctors and nurses
Their response time is too good
(nurse on call button can be used to ensure that they reach the room in less than 30 seconds) Nurses treat us well as well. And the housekeeping ladies and securities follow the standards too.
Yummy food (As the only bystander, I was indeed spoilt by their cuisines, especially chicken samosa and chatti pathiri)
Internal arrangements for procuring medicines and other essentials for the patient (Bystander is spoilt again)
Everything is provided from the hospital including dress, diapers, sanitizers, soap, comb, shaver, locker, towers, sheets and all those what u get at a 4 star hotel. (This was great in our case as we reached their without taking anything with us)
Insurance room and IP billing
We had a cashless policy and it was managed well by their team even though I had to pay 10k+ 8k as deposit on hospital admission. I know few multispeciality hospitals who doesnt do so
Not so positive aspects:
Listing few odd things here
DOCTOR
Doctor Elizabeth is an excellent doctor. So her waiting times are huugeee. We had to reschedule several times to meet her during maternity period. She has a soft corner toward surgery as well. 😝 our first delivery was a c section. So she directly insisted on c section without any second thoughts. Most of my friends also has a similar experience. But pregnant ladies likes her a lot due to the motherly feeling she gives and the polished talk.
EXPENSE
My total bills hovered near 90k (70+20) for mom m baby. I still feel the pricing is not much higher. It was "just" 2X that of our previous delivery cost in a normal hospital. But, what is not justifiable is the attitude of the ladies in the finance planning room. Yes. They have hired few ladies just for explaining us regarding the cost involved. And the negative here is that they have just one package and we get to choose from single room or sharing room. So packages without options felt a bit odd. They could have easily dismissed the girls over there to save some money as they are not doing anything good
ROOMS
we got to select between double sharing and single rooms alone. Even though it was okay with me, few bystanders may not feel good by seeing the small diwan kind of bed in the single room. Yeah, thats why it is a single room after all 🤓
Will I opt for Apollo again?
Of course I will. Being a lazy bystander spoilt by all the positives they offered, I WILL OPT for apollo again
Drinking water provided everywhere. Sanitizer also keeping every location. I noticed that staffs are not idle there. Everybody doing their job. They were busy.
Covid vaccination available there.
There is mobile chargers and power outlets. Cafeteria is provided inside. Token numbers will display on led TV. Everything in a good system. Pharmacy little bit crowded. But staff doing their work quickly. Only disappointment is toilet. Wet closet and floor. There is no tissue paper roll provided. We can clean the closet ourselves before sitting on it if they provide a tissue paper. I surprise that how foreign patients can use this toilet without tissue paper roll.
Except the washroom issue, everything was fine.
I recommend this hospital.
The facilities in the hospital is at par or even better than other marque hospitals in Bengaluru. Consultation charges were optimal and the registration process was also efficient. Technology being used effectively across all stages.
Parking is adequate and free. The on site pharmacy is also quite good.
