One of the best facilities in India for treatment of arthritis . There are team of doctors whoa re very good in their profession . They are committed to the patients . They make all the effort to diagnose the cause of pain and then treat . I am from Bangalore. The cost of investigations and consultation is very very less are CARE when compared to Bangalore . Lab test reports are made available very fast Treatment is also very effective . highly recommended to all those suffering from joint pain and autoimmune disease

Best Doctor for Arthritis. The staff and junior doctors here are so kind. They even do call up and check if we are facing any issues or any other pain regularly. Excellent follow up mechanism.

Great Doctors, Excellent system. We are first sent to junior doctors who listens patiently to all our problems and then updates to their system which is then seen by the senior doctors. This is also followed by drug intake counseling. Though I've been to many hospitals and several doctors, this is where I've really felt heard, the doctors actually spent time asking about each every joint pain in detail. It is a time consuming process. But I don't mind waiting as my health is more important.

Very very bad experience. It's not a hospital, it's a money making place for Shenoy. He doesn't have time to listen or talk to patients. Before you tell about your illness your prescription is ready and he will ask you to go. I have never seen such a rude doctor..he doesn't deserve to be called a " Doctor". I was suffering rheumatoid arthritis and took medications for 4 months from Dr. Shenoy and after 4 months he suggested for knee replacement. I took a a second opinion of Dr. Prasad varkey from st.james hospital chalakudy and he gave me 1 month medication. I am continuing his medicine for 4 months and i feel better now...

You even have to take an appointment even when the patient needs an emergency treatment. I haven't seen such a Rude Receptionist of such a medical institution. This women is literally telling me to wait till a month for the appointment even though I kept in begging that the patient needs the immediate medical assistance. Worst Place. Unprofessional. Medical Negligence. The women in the appointment desk must be thrown from the clinic.

After four years of impartial and ineffective diagnoses and surgeries in the United States, I brought my daughter to Dr. Shenoy Care during our trip to India and couldn't be more pleased. In the period of only two successive days, Dr. Shenoy and his team of doctors performed multiple tests, had an MRI taken, came to a solid diagnosis and got my daughter some initial treatment. After our earlier frustrations with top doctors in the USA and our attempts to navigate the healthcare system in Europe, I am so thankful for the world class care we received here.

Consultation with Dr Shenoy was good.
Staff cooperative , with good response .

The best thing I could not help mentioning is the timely and out of of the way help extended by Krishna Chandran, ( office staff ) who took the pain to deliver us our belongings which we had forgotten to take back, after consultation. He needs special appreciation !!.thank you !!.

A well-oiled money-making factory-line! I had first been to this place about 8 years ago with my mother and recently I accompanied her again on a follow-up visit. It is a whole-day affair where patients move from one floor to another floor going through :-

- A long data gathering session with a rude associate who furiously types everything into a software. Some of the information asked for made me wonder - "What are they using this information for? Are they selling personal data?" India's weak personal information gathering laws may be letting them get away with it.
- X-Rays
- Scans
- Sessions with junior doctors

It is not very clear how it is all orchestrated. Sometimes, they ask you to wait on 4th floor. Then, all of a sudden, they call you and direct you to "Go to the 2nd floor and show the papers there". They don't even tell you what is next. Devotees of Dr. Shenoy patiently let themselves be herded through this conveyor belt system. At every stage, more and more money is extracted for different services.

Finally, the visit culminates in a 2-minute 'darshan' with the great Dr. Shenoy himself. Dr. Shenoy has attained a "Swamiji" aura over the years. Entering his room reminds one of walking into the room of a human god like Mata Amritanandamayi or Sai Baba. There are at least 3 girls in the room - all wearing dubious masks and intensely performing their roles while Dr. Shenoy keeps you occupied with his charm. One is sitting right at Dr. Shenoy's elbow pulling up the patient on the screen and providing any other technical/logistical assistance to him. The other girls are guiding you in and out of the room. A patient is ushered in right when Dr. Shenoy is finishing up with the previous patient. At the same moment, the girl at the doctor's elbow pulls up the patient information on the screen. The well-orchestrated patient switch takes about 10 seconds within which Dr. Shenoy adapts his charm for the new patient.

All that Dr. Shenoy does is to scroll up and down on the screen, look for relevant information and keep the patient occupied - which he does very very well - like an expert magician. He calls the patient "Ammachi", "Achayan", "Kka", "Ttha" etc based on what he observes and what his assistants have already recorded in the software. He cracks loud jokes and gives lots of importance to the patient. He always has something catchy for the patient. With my mother, when she said that she is feeling better, he said, "ദൈവത്തിനു നന്ദി", which my mother has already told 10 different people about - "എന്തൊരു വിനയം ! ". At the end of the 2 minutes, we are expertly guided out of the room while the next patient has already entered the room.

The whole feeling was like a visit to the Guruvayoor temple - സായൂജ്യം, despite the long dusty drive there, a whole day spent moving from room to room and floor to floor, Rs.2000+ drained out of my pocket (for blood tests and medicines) and finally meeting the sage and getting his blessings.

I don't disagree that Dr. Shenoy is a great doctor. He is humble and a good doctor. But, I am skeptical about how he has built that into an organization that lures people in from all over. If you are the kind of person that likes organized big-name pilgrim centers, you will like the whole experience. But, if you are looking for simple medical care and are willing to think of medicine as a science, I am sure there is a doctor nearby who will provide the same treatment and let you go your way in much lesser time.

In any case, please know that rheumatology is not a critical branch of medicine. Most of it is lifestyle management and maintenance. In most of the cases, you can manage it yourself without a doctor. In the rare cases where you need medical expertise, please try not to fall for gimmicks like this.
