One of the best hospital in the district of Palamau. This hospital caters to the primary health needs to people from the districts of Palamau, Latehar and Garhwa. They also have a TB unit and a Community Health department which provides Community support to the people of the nearest blocks.

CMC vellore and this hospital both were established at the same time and same type of location .Look where CMC vellore is and where this hospital stands .Vellore developed in all fields .But due to poor management and policies,this hospital is in a situation where there is a question mark over it's existence.

Sharing some process about OPD. 1st of all you will have to visit counter number 1 there you will be asked for old card/card number if you visited this hospital earlier. If you have old card, they will get all the details about previous visit for you. If you don't have old card or you have lost it then they will provide a new card. In both case you will have to pay registration/consultation charge (50rs in my case). During registration time itself you will be asked about your problems so that they will assign you correct Doctor for you. After registration, as now a days because of corona, you will have to go through screening process (name, age, temperature, oxygen level, BP, weight etc). One more thing I have been told that if temperature is 100 or above 100 they are not going to allow you inside hospital as you might be a corona suspect. If registration and screening are done for you then you will have to wait for your number. As here number is not getting displayed digitally you have to listen carefully your name. They will announce you name with the help of mic and loudspeakers. Once your tern comes they will ask you to go to respective room number. After that based on doctor's feedback you have to visit other counters. But before going directly to medecine counter, xray, and lab you have to get you bill from counter number 3. Doctors are perfect but under-rated. Staffs are not good and they aren't following as per hospital norms. If you have contact with some of the staffs you will get your treatment as soon as you want else you need to remain in queue and just sit and wait like an AAM AADMI. some staffs(nurses) are doing this as a social work and I can say true follower of God but few staffs are greedy posing dis-satisfactory behaviour and working only for money.

This is very old missionary hospital. Here top class facilities are available which are not available in nearest city DTO. All staffs maintain the dress code as well. Infrastructure is old,this is only demerit.
