This place is awesome for children's and also for readers and for old man's.....

The park has no proper maintenance at all. There was no proper parking facilty too. The vehicles are needed to be parked along the road side before the park's entrance, which sometimes will cause severe traffic problems. There plants are mostly not watered in time and grass was not maintained properly. We can see people littering all over the garden. The children's play area was a mess. The swings and the see-saws were all damaged. Not a worthy place to visit.

This place is good to visit in the evening but there are lot of mosquitoes in the park and you cannot help but to move.

Only one big park located in heart of the
Town is Gandhi Park. Existing since so many years. Visited this park number of times in single and with family and children.
Beautiful view park. Swings, Slides,merrygo,monkey bars,climbers and
sandbox available to play by children.
A paper reading room is available. Rest
Benches are available to take rest by
elders in the evening. Statues are available. Show plants grown giving good
look. However it needs development.

This is a very small park but it is very beautiful. There is a facility for kids to play and olders to sit. As it is located in the heart of the city, you can get transport very easily. There is a reading room also in its premises.

Park has kids playing are,sitting area,greenary all over,it has a small study area too,newspapers are available,washrooms available.good place to visit.it has food places nearby.one of the old parks.it has fountain in between and walking path. Maintainance is good.

Gandhi Park is the most accessible park in the city. It is located at Palakonda Road Srikakulam. It is opposite DMHO office. It is approximately 500 M from seven road junction.It is very pleasent park and its ambience is so great. It has beautiful Gandhi statue at the entrance . Followed by Pottisriramulu statue and Radha Krishna statues. It has Mural paintings on the walls of the park.It has an in built library in the park.

It was an attractive place some three decades ago. Now one old auditorium, some indecent cement benches and broken play things appear in the park. It's legacy faded away.
