Not only the beautiful ambience but the warm hospitality of the family is what we found exemplary. Located in a very accessible part of the city and well connected , the place is perfectly suited for both business and pleasure trips. The rooms are neat, well maintained and as comfortable as home.The family terrace which is open to the guests as well ,is absolutely breathtaking. What deserves special mention is the awesome mouthwatering food prepared by the mother of the house. If you are keen to know the city well, you are in the right place. Mr. Chanda and his lovely wife are extremely courteous and enthusiastic and can guide you well to explore the city. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

This is by far the best homestay i have availed in India. The location is very convenient , it's just about 300 metres from Rabindra Sarovar Metro Station. The Chanda home is very stylish, spanking clean and super safe. The host Nandini & Indranil has a huge knowledge about the city and are of great help. Super value for money.

It was a fantastic stay . awesome Bengali breakfast and a mind blowing terrace garden. a class apart rooms . very well connected place. five minutes to Ravindra sarovar metro. over all its the best and must try homestay in Kolkata. and not to forget lovely hosts , the Chanda family.....

This is an amazing homestay. Had one of the best experiences while visiting. Highly recommended! The staff, the cleanliness and the service is impeccable.

This was my first homestay and it literally felt like home. Quite, comfortable and cozy. Its near to many prominent places. Its nearer to Rabindra Sarobar Metro and many malls.
The caretaker was welcoming and very helpful. He would answer anything whenever you need help.
They would only serve breakfast.

Good and clean place. Rooms are big and spacious . The house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities like refrigerator, geyser, toaster, microwave etc. It was a little damp when we went, might be because it was kept closed for long. It’s on first floor and there is no lift, gets little difficult if you have elders who find it painful to climb the steps or you have big luggage which you need to take up yourself. You can cook your own food or try to order from Swiggy/ Zomato. Lots of restaurants deliver. They close the main gate at 10pm and if you need to enter or exit you would have to call the caretaker who might just snap if you do that frequently. Might be a little friendlier caretaker would be nice.

Overall a good place for short stay.

My stay was perfect in every way. The room was very aesthetically done with period furnitures. The breakfast was basic yet very delicious. Rabindra Sarovar Metro about a 4 minutes walk and the connectivity is great. It's a great option at this price point.
