Baan Nimbus is a perfect getaway from the hustle & bustle of the city. The chirping of birds & the greenery which surrounds this place calms you down.
Nestled in a coffee plantation, the property is good choice for those who want to curl up with book or pen down their thoughts & enjoy the beauty of nature.
We were treated with warm hospitality by the owners & the caretakers of the place. A special word of thanks to Mangala & her family , who are the caretakers of this place. She served us with some delicious local Malnad cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Would love to go back & experience the place once again.

The BEST staycation we’ve had. I chose this place for my husbands birthday and it was so beautiful. The location, the room and most importantly the Caretakers were so helpful and so courteous.
Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days last week in the 'Rachawadee' room. The trip was good overall with some areas for improvement.

PROS: Eclectic mix of decor from different cultures, proximity to main town and highway, lovely landscaping within the property, great food and coffee courtesy Mangala (the caretaker).

CONS: Service can get slow and patchy when the rooms are full (having to wait for food longer than 30 mins sometimes within specified meal slots). We felt the rooms without the attached bathroom could be charged less tariff than the premium ones since it does take effort to go back and forth and the room size too was much smaller than anticipated.

Its been an absolute pleasure to visit Baan Nimbus after having it on my radar for over 2 years. This time it was special because it was our 6 year old Rottweiler Zoey's birthday and there is only one room that allows dogs - Jam Juree [ Incase thats a filter ]

Serene and beautiful property with warm staff and just to add to all the good things - the food has been phenomenal.
We also met the owners George and Tuki along with their 6 month old Golden retriever.

Highly recommended!!
“Baan nimbus” is truly a piece of heaven..i had the best staycation ever! Their homestay is located in sakleshpura, and the location seem like a paradise which is beautiful lush greenery and close to the nature. They’ve very unique kind of love for art,I totally loved the ambience, and it gives such a cozy feeling!! I have to mention about their caretakers! Who were really really sweet and welcoming. The best part was the combination of freshly prepared food (they offer 3 times meals) and nature together is a best combo to get refreshed..can’t wait to visit again:)

Hi,
We had made a booking in the name of Archana Srivatsa for 3 nights from for a couple and a child at the rate of ₹5000 per person per night at Baan Nimbus having got a reference and recommendations from friends and family acclaiming impressive presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Airbnb, etc...) . Advanced payment of 90% was mandatory for receiving a booking confirmation. Even after making an advanced payment Of 90% , 2 weeks prior, we did not receive any correspondence of the booking confirmation via email or WhatsApp or by any phone call . After constant attempts to reach the booking team for several days on all the phone numbers mentioned in the email/ on the website we did not receive any call. we received the call from an unlisted number confirming the booking just a day prior to the trip. Having a stressful experience over booking, we at least hoped for a good holiday.
On the first look the ambience is rustic with a quirky decor. Spending a day we soon realised it to be pricey place with no frills to expect .
1.The property does not meet any hospitality standards of luxury which it claims to promise by charging a premium cost of 5000rs per person per night .
2. It comes with no great amenities other than a badly maintained uninviting swimming pool.
3. There was no activity reference manual on the property nor anyone to guide us through what one can explore in the surrounding ,
Not even an estate tour was arranged for courtesy.
4. Food was very average ,
5. Property was left orphaned in hands of cook and cleaners to maintain, while the owners of the home stay were on long holiday themselves .
6. Rooms were cleaned only after we asked the staff do so.
We canceled the third night stay in the property , as it was not value for money , paying 15000 rs per night .
We are extremely disappointed , for an average and just a satisfactory stay, we were charged equivalent to any luxury 5 star accommodation. I don't see the worth of this place charging any more than 2000per night per person .
Despite trying to contact owner several times, they continue to remain incognito and don’t care to respond to any no of phone calls.
Over all a fancy price for a fancy name.

My first ever solo trip was to Baan Nimbus and am so glad I chose to stay here. A beautiful, magical place to unwind and find yourself. Mangala and her team were absolutely hospitable and made me feel at home. A must visit for the ones who love nature and would like some quiet time. A special shout out to Tuki who has built this place with absolute adoration.

Excellent place. Secluded, but with good road access. Plenty of greenery all around. Sufficient parking for up to 3 cars. Swimming pool is a bit small, but you won't be swimming much if it is cold or raining. There are 6 rooms, out of which 3 are really good. We rented out 4 rooms and the hosts were gracious enough to keep the other rooms vacant. Special mention to the caretaker and cook Mrs. Mangala, who is an excellent cook and wonderful host
