Dreamland Homestay

Great homestay away from the main city. But be careful with the roads from the highway, they are in bad shape, specially the approach road to the homestay is tricky and had to be negotiated carefully. Rooms are good, clean and decorated in choiceable way. Breakfast is complimentary and good. Some other food options available for lunch/dinner which is very tasty but price is too high. Rooms are either hill view or city view. Go for city view rooms as you can keep the windows and curtains open for some fresh air as rooms for hill view has a stair infront so can't keep window/curtains open as a result rooms are suffocating. For peace and comfort you can stay here but if you want more food options and near to city, it's not recommended as you have to travel the extra 2-2.5 km each time.

PROs:
1. Beautiful location at Kushalnagar. Slightly away from the main township. So that you can enjoy. There are several places to visit near Kushalnagar.
2. Brilliant view from window.
3. Very helpful staff and owner.
4. Sufficient parking place.
5. Good quality food.
6. Homestay location is visible in Google Map.
7. Clean rooms.

CONs:
1. It's not located at Medikeri (the main hill station). (Approx 30km away)
2. Being a homestay, they take almost 2 hours to prepare the food.
3. Food pricing is on higher side.
4. Roads to reach it is horrible.
5. Very small board to locate the homestay (google can't take you to the exact building).

Overall, it was nice experience. If you have a car, it is a nice place to stay.

Great place, peaceful Homestay in center of Kodagu district! All major tourist spots are at similar distance.

The Homestay is neat & clean. Excellent rooms! Not very spacious, but not crammed as well. They do provide home made food. But one needs to order 3-4hrs in advance. Best to place an order about lunch/dinner at breakfast itself. Kerala parotta and Egg curry is a must try!

Ample parking space. This place is a bit off the main highway; hence it’s quiet and peaceful!

Spacious rooms at affordable prices with homemade food. Situated away from the hustle bustle of the town this is a real good place to stay in Coorg. The owner Mr Sheikh Abdul is a gem of a person and he makes your stay a memorable one by his wisdom. There is kitchen with dining tae so your rooms will stay away from the mess after the meals. You get ample parking space here. This place is rated highly by tripoto and TripAdvisor as well.

We had an amazing time staying here. The owner was really nice to talk to. He is very helpful. Has free WiFi. Rooms were very clean and well maintained.
The food can be a lil pricy. But the place is worth it.
Road to this place is a lil bad.

A secluded home stay atop a hillock having three sides open for viewing down the valley. If it's not raining you can ask for the camp fire to be set. A beautiful setting where in the screeching of the crickets is something that one will never forget.

My experience was as if I was seeing the stars twinle syncronising their twinkle along with the screeching of the crickets. A new moon night or the full moon nights are the more so called prescribed nights to enjoy the night sky.

If you are enthused to use the telescope be sure I can recommend no other open place more suitable than the for the night sky views.

The atmosphere was very bad…. They did not provide WIFI and TV as they told… There was no sealed drinking water to drink. There was no food service available.. we travelled almost 3km for breakfast and dinner. They were cockroches flying around the entire house. No Hot water was provided.
Bathroom wasnt cleaned ( they hadnt even removed the toiletries used by other customers).. we werent satified with the service… if you want a comfortable stay never go with dream land… we had the worst experience ever before.

Lovely place to be. They take good care of customers who stay there. Food is available there and it's also tasty. Rooms were maintained well and good place to stay.
