This is a ‘quick get out of the city’ cottage. Loved the stay, it’s nice, clean and calm. The morning view of skandagiri is something to look forward to while you enjoy your coffee and fresh air.

Spent a night at this place. There were some issues we shared as feedback to the owner but the caretaker didn't take kindly to that and yelled at us for doing so. There was also confusion about addressing issues as the person who took the money was not the owner and did not want to take responsibility to address the issues. We also had issues with the water stopping midway through. Overall, plenty of issues with the level of service but location was great! Would've been nice to have a better kitchen and/or better food options.

We booked this place through a company called REAL. The initial interactions with Meghna were pleasant and informative, and we went ahead with the booking and the advance payment.
We arrived at this place, and that's where things went downhill. We planned a late check-in due to weather and found that as we entered, 5 people were hurriedly leaving the place. When we entered, we found that the bathroom looked freshly used and not clean. We found that the pantry also had some used items lying around. I complained about this to Meghna who then transferred me to Kiran, and then claimed that they're only marketing the place. They didn't take any responsibility and transferred me to another person Amar, who frankly was a lot more understanding than the REAL company people who simply brushed off all responsibility after the advance payment. While this transfer of responsibilty was happening, the caretaker of the house walks in and literally shouts at our party for complaining about the condition of the house. He refused to help with the fridge and other appliances which weren't turning on. Not only did it defeat the purpose of finding a quaint place to come and relax, it was frankly unsafe.
At this point, I called back Meghna and Kiran with a lot of frustration only to hear Kiran telling me that they're being sorry for someone else's problem, then shouting back at me, telling me "you're talking too much" and even asked if I'm "high".
It was raining, this was far away from everywhere else and the group reached where two people were unwell. At this point, we called the more reasonable person of the lot, Amar, to just not have the caretaker disturb us any more. We got through the night to wake up to a bathroom with no running water, the caretaker and staff hovering around and peeping into the house. When I told Amar, he took care of both things but can't imagine feeling safe and relaxed at this place.
I don't think I've ever had such an unfortunate experience with any other service, Meghna and Kiran. No care for the customer concern, no responsibility or accountability and extremely unprofessional. There can be excuses for the cleanliness and other things, but no excuses for the poor treatment and lack of accountability. That added big time to the frustration caused by REAL in the first place

Amazing property amidst nature. Good hosts and caretakers. Perfect venue for Sunset and Sunrise. Clean n Neat. Close by to Skandagiri Hills for trek and Bhoganandeeshwara Temple.

One of the best place to stay for both couple and gang of friends! This property has two floors Ground and first floor. Both were good! If you want to spend some relaxing and peaceful time with your partner this is the best place to go! The most important thing is owner of this property (Amar) is too good and very much supportive! I had a memorable stay here. Will surely visit again!!

Accomodation was excellent for four people, it was just perfect..Host Amar was super helpful to help make things available in like utensils, towels, bed sheets, etc...care taker Nagraj is a super guy and made sure we were comfortable during our stay, he also arranged for bonfire...place is butiful and the feel during sunrise and sunset is just excellent. We were able to go for Skandagiri trek very easily from here...this is the best place to be in the location....thank you Amar and team....

Hi Amar bro. Seriously the place was awsome and really enjoyed during the night time with that chillness of breezeee and insects noise. Rooms no words to tell really awsome l. Prices are cheap too. Hope u come up with the same kind of stays across Karnataka. All the best for your future. 😊

Maintaince was on point! The bonfire facility was amazing! Complete Privacy and a good place to go and lose yourself in peace. Amar is a great host and helper Nagraj was sweet guy as well.
