Papera Homestay

Its a place where you feel so comfortable. It was my first visit and my experience staying in that Location was excellent. This place is well maintained, upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner(madam) and staff, they were extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy, Rooms were spacious and comfortable. I am happy to share that we visited during naming ceremony of baby girl of their family, even they invited us and treated like a member of family, Mr.Rajesh and family thanks for your hospitality will visit again & again

Visited this homely homestay accidentally , we usually visit homestay / hotels by looking into reviews . But this time we just went by flow after speaking to the owner of the property Rajesh . He was so calm and cool . We went with family of 6 members with 3 kids . It was "like" at first site - beautiful plants and the view of mountains and the sounds of the birds .Special thanks to Tanuja , she was so welcoming and took care of us till we left the property . Food was so delicious and tasty thanks to Venu . I enjoyed drinking Lime Juice with birdseye chilly in it. He prepared whatever we like veg / non veg and have good option . They took us to a small waterfall for us to have bath which was much adventure for kids and elders thanks to Dhananjay. The rooms are spacious and clean it would be fun for people coming in big groups as well. Also they have arranged campfire . I would recommend this place to others to visit . Its really a home away from home.

Awesome place to visit if you love a great culinary experience. They provide lots of new and lip smacking food with love as per your liking. We had pure veg food at their place and it was very good. The wooden cottage was very good and estate itself was tastefully designed with great lighting. Thanuja was a great host and kept us engaged throughout the stay, she also told us about some hidden treasures around the area by sending a guide along for the tour. Overall an Amazing experience full of warmth in a cold weather :)

If there would have been 10 star rating, i would have given 11 stars.
This homestay will welcome you in a way that one would like to visit here again and again.
A beautiful property with hundreds of plants , beautiful spacious rooms and last but not least amazing delicious food.
A very big shout out to rajesh and tanuja for managing this property and making guests feel like family only.

In terms of food, a very delicious local cuisine is served by arun , being a north indian , i have thoroughly enjoyed their neer dosa, coconut stews with idiyapam and many more starters and do try their lemon tea.i have fallen in love with it.

On our way out , on request of my mother they graciously have given us their locally produced raw mangoes and bananas.
I am grateful to tanuja for that gesture.

Mr.arun also took us to a trek , and the pictures of the view are not doing justice to what we have seen with our eyes.

Will definitely visit here again amd again.

It was a wonder experience at Papera Homestay, Nelji. My friend Davan suggested this place for a weekend getaway and am very thankful to him. Tanuja is a great host (Couldn’t meet Rajesh though). From the time me reached the property, till we left, everything was so well taken care of! Mouthwatering - is an understatement for the food that Arun cooked for us. Wonderful cottages, great location and tasty food - what else would you need for a great holiday? Camp fire was nice on a chilly night. Overall, a wonderful place for families and groups to visit. One of the best homestay in coorg to sync with nature. Very good ambience and hospitality. Spacious rooms with comfy beds and good network. Well maintained hygienic bathrooms. Bonfire with delicious home cooked food was just awesome.
I highly recommend this place to all. Thanks to the entire team of Papera.
