GreenAcres Bungalow

We stayed at Greenacres for a family trip in a group of 11 people. This place was absolutely wonderful. It is located in a large coffee estate and has comfortable and modern stay/accomodation. Rovan, and his family provided us an amazing hospitality in their home and we were glad to have stayed with them. Their home was modern, neat and very well designed.

They helped us with bonfire on one night, information of their estate, farming and other things. The food that they cooked was wonderful - it was homelike and moderated in spices that everyone could enjoy. They also helped us with snacks during evening tea and bonfire. They provided speakers for some music as well.

Overall being in a thick vegetation and having all comforts of their home was great, it helped everyone have a good time. I will recommend this place very highly to anyone going to Chikmagalur.

Yes, we had a wonderful time at GreenAcres. One of the best getaways I’ve had. Good place, good food, good people, good vibes, good nature, good company. Everything was just A1😍

The location is fantastic, lot of greenery. Great, big property with nice big rooms. Clean and hygienic. Homely experience. The owner is very down to earth and leaves no stone unturned to make the experience better. The best part was the camp fire and barbeque with music. The only down side is the food which was not too great but we get whatever we want on demand.

Pet lovers can take their pets here.
They will help you to travel across the location in their own jeep, charges 2500/- INR.
Campfire was awesome, food is home cooked and its unlimited.

A WOW feeling overall.

A quick weekend getaway from Bangalore, with beautiful roads leading us through the Kunigal Hassan highway and finally reaching the destination amongst the beautiful coffee and pepper estates surrounding roads that are typical to this area of Karnataka.

The property itself was beautiful. A warm welcome from the hosts with cool beverages to relax you after a 5 hour drive. Food here was just amazing - zero complaints. They were not stingy on both quantity and quality. We loved the evening BBQ dishes the most (especially the local fish starter).

A camp fire below the starry skies (trust me, this is a view you will not find in the city) with some mild music and conversations with friends made this trip even more awesome.

We went as a group of 4 families which included 8 adults and 6 children and the stay was quite comforting. When it comes to staying in a ‘Homestay’ I am always doubtful but I would not agree more , it was more than just a homestay. The rooms were well lit and spacious with attached washrooms which were neat and tidy with all hygiene factors met as we were particular about it as we were travelling with kids. The stay also comes with special attractions like BBQ and Bonfire in the night which set the christmas mood to top notch and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had a thrilling adventure in the Jeep ride offered by the stay where we visited the tea plantation , valley view and the waterfall. It was quite an experience. The host and the staff were very helpful and they offered us their best with a smile on their face. If you are someone with a taste of North Indian delicacy, you may have to
compromise a little but if you are ready to
explore it is way more than just a pleasant stay.

Without a doubt one of the best homestay in chikmagalur! We had 2 great evenings here, with barbeque and bonfire. The family was extremely friendly and there was beautiful greenery all around! Loved the chicken biryani!! If you want a home away from home off the beat track.. This is for u.
