Coffee island homestay

We spent a very nice time being here. The hospitality is too good. If you are planning for family it's a best homestay.we felt very safe and comfort. Food is also nice. I recommended to several people after I visited.
And some fellow peoples doesn't visited this place and giving poor review that doesn't make any sense.
So please don't think any negative about this place it is very good. Once you visit you will get to know.

I visited coffee islands homestay for a quite getaway from the hussle of Bangalore city. And that is exactly what I got. The hospitality from the family is excellent. The place is right in the middle of a big coffee plantation. Place is quite and calm. The family treated us very well. The food was very good. The entrance to the stay is a little offroad.. That maybe an issue for some.. But it gave me an into the nature vibe :) I think it would be a perfect place for a group of 5-8 people. The room upstairs is big and has enough beds.

First Thing I need to say The Food part the food is awesome and the Owners are very loveable person's we stayed two nights and they arranged Fire camp and non veg snacks there's more space fo Play area for family and friends this is the best place to chill out and it's near to mullayanagiri Peak and Jheri falls it's locating in center of coffee estates and 500 mtr Road is not good it's little scary but once u reach the place sure will enjoy the place and food as well and the price also reasonable Please do visit

If you would like to stay in coffee plantation, this is the best place to stay.
Upon arrival,we were warmly welcomed by the host.The host Nakul provided excellent hospitality, including delicious food, comfortable beds, and clean restrooms.
The family was extremely friendly. And they even took care of me and my friends who were sick with home remedies.
This homestay is highly recommended for anyone visiting Chikmagalur.

We stayed in a beautiful place surrounded by greenery. Beyond the relaxing experience of the stay, the home cooked food was finger licking good.They made us feel more like their friends than just guests. I appreciate their simplicity and hospitality. People there were very attentive, professional, friendly and caring. They used to light up the camp fire for us every night and made us get a chance of spending a lovely time with our closed ones. Especially Nakul, our host, made everything go smoothly when we arrived and departed. He also suggested many places that were worth visiting. Thanks to him for making this journey more memorable for us.

My friends and I stayed in this homestay for 3 nights and 2 days. Undoubtedly, one of the best homestays, amidst the coffee plantations with lush green nature, I stayed during my time in Chikmagalur.

Upon arrival,we were warmly welcomed by Mr.and Mrs. Giridhar and their son Nakul and also by the cute little Bunty. The family was extremely friendly. We had three great evenings here, with bonfire & dinner which obviously added up to the experience.

Nakul is an amazing friend than just being the host of Coffee Island Homestay. Mr. and Mrs. Giridhar are very down to earth people and will take care of each and every need of yours as a family. The service, ambeince, food and hospitality can't be found in 5 star hotel. We enjoyed every moment there.

Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. A true example of how an Homestay and the hospitality should be.

Best hospitality . The place is amidst the coffee plantations with lush green Nature. Welcomed by an amazing and friendly host Nakul , and catered by his mom, with scrumptious food , not to mention the enthusiastic uncle ( nakul's dad) and Bunty ... we never felt as guests in the homestay , more like a family. Taking back all good memories and more friends, I would suggest anyone visiting chikkamagalur to definitely be a part of this family and enjoy the stay.

Went for a direct check in. Place looked great and could accommodate 30 people easily. Carrom board, TV and other board games were available. Hospitality was good and food was great. It would have been good if internal roads were made better. The main person who manages the place knows kannada only which lead to communication problem sometimes. However we liked the stay a lot for hospitality and food. Papad was great.
