Zostel Homes Theog (Shimla)

Stay was absolutely amazing. The rooms were exactly how they're shown in the picture. We chose for a balcony view room and it was just perfect. Zostel was super clean, absolute homely feel. The cook asked us if we would be having dinner there only and we were served with two veg dishes along with a chapati and salad. They also served us with apple chutney which was extensively delicious. The FOOD HERE IS EPIC. There were two dogs as well and they met us at the door and I went absolutely 🥺
Location is bit off the road but I would still recommend it 10/10 ❤️ Must visit place.✨

We stayed for 3 nights in Jun 2022 by doing AirB&B booking. This is not home stay rather a guest house with caretakers. Location is difficult to reach with no accessible road, food is expensive. Service levels are poor - no room cleaning done for 3 days, fixtures are old and non maintenance of overall property. Struggled with lot of houseflies in room throughout the stay. Loud music was allowed in premises till 1-2am in the night. For the price they charged, you can find better places to stay nearby.

Remote area, should use an SUV if you book here (experienced driver should be able to handle the car in dirt road as it is still a kaccha road) . 2-3 tricky bends rest is easy road. My i20 went in there to the parking place of zostel home. They have 5 rooms in total, we booked 4 of them for 2 days.
The food is of good quality and taste . Should tell in advance to hotel staff for meals, so they have time to get items necessary for specific dish. Usually they have most of the items at hotel. Should try siddu ghee it is a very tasty sweet dish here. Should inform 24 hours before for this dish as it takes time to prepare it.
early morning view and evening view is beautiful here. Can enjoy indoor games here at the hotel. Pool, carrom, read books or play guitar 🎸 at their common room.
It is for those who want peaceful and calm place with no disturbance of city life. Rooms and facilities are good.

It is a wonderful property food is good but there us ni variety but that is acceptable owing to location/home stay platform. A very courteous staff and clean hygienic rooms. Reach out is a bit struggle part follow the hoardings. overall Lovely stay! Recommended👍.

Very good place with a lovely facility. Host Rinku made sure we were comfortable from the time we arrived to we left. Please check their apple orchards for the tastiest home grown apples. Clean and spacious rooms are the highlight.

Peaceful location, amazing hosts, beautifully done spacious property, comfortable bed & good functional bathroom, great food and last but not the least Ivy & Beyonce (their cute friendly dogs). Definitely worth your time & money!

Initially we were only supposed to stay for one night while on our bike trip to the Spiti Valley. But the moment we reached this location we decided to extend our stay.

Had a pleasant stay with a good mountain view. Rinku gave us good service. The food was delicious.
