Went at the end of March and got snowed in for 4 days. It gets extremely cold here and Tenzin the owner was very kind enough to keep a bonfire going at all times and even provided us with a heater in our rooms.
Basic logding, with a bed and plenty of blankets and an attached toilet and bath. Nothing fancy and there is a chance the water in the pipes will freeze when it snows. But the staff provided us with bucket of water from the river.
Tasty and homely food! Hot tea whenever we asked, to keep us from freezing. Great bunch of locals to keep us company all through the day, as there wasn't much to do since we were caught in heavy snowfall.
You can buy woollen socks and gloves knitted by the ladies in the village from Tenzin. They worked better at keeping us warm compared to any of the other things we had brought from the city.
Owner even organized a taxi for us to go back to Manali after it was declared safe to travel again.
