A must go place. Will need about 45 minutes to be spent there. Has a lot of steps to be climbed. Just one shop outside. Best time to go there is 9 am when it is not too hot and just opens. Parking will be on the road. So not sure about how it would be during peak time.

Place it's well maintained.... Its an unfinished temple .... Nice grass pasture infront of the cave to hangout .... There is entry fee ..... Not much to look at from architectural point.... But they kind of give you picture of historical structures... Good place .. but mostly you see couples ...

Good place to visit with family
Great place for history lovers.
Those who are not interested in archeology then it may disappoint you.
One thing which bring you here is small garden at the entrance.

Rest thing is average

There weren't a lot of people there, it was quiet private. It had 3-4 stories/floors. There isn't alot to look at, there are idols of Indian gods (and many bats in the first 2 floors. They werent flying though, can be ignored). It can be a good place for nice pictures too.

These caves have a lot of history. Great to know how in olden times that have made such caves which are well designed. Small caves but can be visited anytime. There are no proper safety measures for tourists. More refreshments and facilities for the tourists will help a lot.

I had visited this place on a public holiday + weekend, so you can imagine the crowd there! Couldn't appreciate it much since there was huge family crowd, however I found the view from the Undavalli Caves to be more scenic. It also has a sleeping posture statue of Lord Vishnu on second floor of the cave. Will advise others to visit the place on a normal weekday where one can spend time in peace with nature here. The cave is open till 6pm in the evening and the entry ticket counter closes by 5-5.15pm. There are a lot of smart monkeys, don't try to mock/play with them, they might outsmart you :p
I liked that they're promoting cashless payments. The entry ticket is ₹25 if you're paying by cash and ₹20 if you're making cashless payment.

Awesome experience. Not as big as other caves but great nonetheless. Beautiful carvings and great views of the nearby areas. Rate of entry is 25 rupees for Indians. A must go experience

Good for a short visit, especially if the weather is pleasant. I would not classify it as must see for tourists. I have been to Ajanta, Ellora, so comparatively Undavalli caves are quite small. The Vishnu statue in sleeping posture inside the cave(watch out for the bats) is impressive. I really the like the view from the top though, open space and lot of greenery around.
