From Fort you can see whole Jhansi city. From the Fort view of Jhansi city too good. Nearby the Fort having Mathili Saran Gupt park which too good for kids, Old ager. This was really amazing experience and you can feel the energy from your inner soul, Must visit with the kids and family , let them relate the story with actual and really it is worthy to visit. You can have a lot of option to stay from 1500-3000 and parking is an issue with most of the hotels.

However all the places are in proximity. Must visit all 3-4 places which are in proximity of 100 mtr.

Most Important place of historical importance. It gives me goosebumps to be here. It's living example of the sacrifices made by our ancestors for the independence we have today. I have been here twice. It is highly recommended to hire a guide as there are no descriptions at the places here. During previous visit we had hired a guide and that was memorable. A must visit place . It's temple of sacrifices. The fort is in a bad shape as on date. The administration has not been maintaining it well. Sorry atate of affairs. It really gives me pain to see it in such a state. I have attached few photos of those problems. I would request everyone who visits this place to highlight these issues. I have raise my concerns to the state department. We need to work together for uplifting the state of the National Monument. Jai Hind

Fort depicts the British period of jhansi and a magnificent example of its struggle during 1857 Revolt.
A thing of must visit if u are in jhansi and facilities like parking, drinking water etc are improving quiet alot. At the same time security n maintenance of fort are in focus of administration in present time

The legendary Rani Lakshmi Bai fought the British from the Jhansi Fort, capturing it and leading her troops against the British East India CompanyIt is this aura that surrounds the grand fort and draws thousands of visitors to Jhansi each year. It was built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo (1606-27) of Orchha on a rocky hill called Bangra in the town of Balwantnagar (presently known as Jhansi). The fort has ten gates ( Darwaza).Jhansi Fort or Jhansi ka Kila is a fortress situated on a large hilltop called Bangira, in Uttar Pradesh, Northern India. It served as a stronghold of the Chandela Kings in Balwant Nagar (old name of Jhansi) from the 11th through the 17th century.
