Hasn't re-opened for visitors post covid. I'm sure it's the amazing place with the most amazing vibe but we could only witness it from quite afar. Hope it opens soon, the place should be cherished.

This Place holds the very essence of our university ..and symbolize the worship of Bramha Upasana ...which was initiated by Maharshi Debendranath Tagore, Father of Gurudev Ravindranath Tagore .. The legacy is still being carried by thousands of students, staffs of our VISVA-BHARATI.. concurrently the chatim leaves (saptaparni) were also given to the students after completion of their degree starting from 12th graduation, post graduation and PhD during convocation... the tradition was started at the time of Gurudev..This tradition has been cumulative behind naming the Chatim tree ... which is Alstonia scholaris.. Scholaris as a species name for its importance towards students achievement. This place has its own aura and spirit... you can feel it while standing here .. Ye apni Apbeeti khud hi Bayan karti hai ...

You can visit here anytime....however I would suggest to visit during 23rd to 25th December because the Upasana of Nirguna Bramha held here during those day and with that the Pous Mela initiated ..

Look, quite honest review alert!

Being a place woven with the memories of Rabindranath Thakur, this place has a special place in each and every Bengali's heart.
Well, before the covid pandemic, visitors were allowed inside the garden, to watch and being amazed by the serenity of the place. But, after the pandemic, entry has been debarred, simultaneously the administration of the place has run down. Maintenance has been reduced, which is visible from the parasitic plants growing here and there.
As a result of these, visitors are not at all happy. What is the meaning of visiting the place of our beloved Rabi Thakur if you can't enter the premises? These all has cultivated in lesser number of visitors, and personally, I have heard people say they might not come here until the rules are mended.
