Must visit historical place in Jhansi.
I have been here multiple times and this time I felt that Archeological department has done great work to maintain this place.

Most if the part of fort is well maintained and clean. Drinking water and toilets are available. No food stalls inside fort which helps in keeping it clean. Monkeys are also gone now.
Both paid two and four wheeler parking are available.

Decently well maintained historical venue. It was scarcely crowded the day I visited. What I absolutely hated was the smell of piss, particularly in the covered areas of the fort. It made the visit quite unbearable. One, unfortunately, cannot expect people to be decent. It would be great if certain areas of the fort can be appropriately manned to help maintain the integrity of this great fort.

Jhansi fort gives you different vibes of history. It's not some fancy mansion. It is very well maintained and contains world's 2nd biggest cannon. They also provide travel manual/map as a guide so one can read history of every corner in fort. One of the best place to visit if you are in Jhansi.

Well preserved and full of history. The restoration work has been spot on and the cleanliness is well maintained. The entrance ticket can be bought online (link & QR code can be found at the entrance) as they are cheaper than offline tickets (or what is being "charged" at the entrance).

I was born and raised in jhansi and this fort was my first introduction to rich heritage and history of India. Recently, it has been really well maintained with a nice garden on the inside where one can hang out with family or friends. The fort is really a gem and host to a lot of historic artifacts including guns and cannons. The views from the top are really breathtaking. A recommended visit for anyone visiting jhansi.

One of the best place if you are interested in history and ancient architecture. The fort is well maintained due to CM visit to Jhansi otherwise it was not that much maintained. Recently they have installed some good lights at the perimeter of fort. It's look nice at night. Also, anyone can watch light and sound show at night.

Felt so incredible and proud to stand in the same soil and walk the same corridors which was graced by the epitome of female bravery and one of the leading figures of Indian rebellion! The sprawling 15 acres provides an opportunity to soak in to this amazing architecture marvel. The entry fee is 25 rupees. The fort provides a panoramic view of Jhansi. Must visit.

Would recommend to get an guide will cost 300 rupees along it will be more useful..otherwise it's an small fort to be visit , an hour enough.

But it was good to know the struggles with which Rani has fought through out ..you can clearly see how simple life they life's less like a king more like a fighter .

New flag point was also recently inaugurated by Mr.Modi .

The view of city from top is beautiful.

Also new laser show is also added on place of light and sound show which earlier happened.
