Very secluded place, though many prefer Goechela Trek, diverting the path to Bhikbari and then to HMI is altogether a very different and unique experience.

The Rathong Glacier is an important glacierof West Sikkim. The source of the Rathong River flows from the end of Rathong Glacier.[1] This glacier extends from Rathong La in the north almost to the top of Chowrikiang Valley in the South. It is fed by the Mt. Rathong (6678m) and Ice Falls of Kabru group of peaks.
