This Step well is an Architect marvel. A must Visit. Unfortunately there is no much information about this amazingly beautiful *Step Well* .

It’s just beside a Hotel property Raas Hotel .
There is no clear signage to reach the Step Well. We got lost in the lanes. There is no proper access road to reach this amazing place

Well is not maintained well. Water is dirty.
Tourism department can make this place much more attractive and boost the foot fall

We visited this step well late last night and quite enjoyed seeing this ancient marvel. The place is located in tiny bylanes and I guess that's the reason it's not crowded like the other tourist places (which is good in a way).

I was informed that in the evenings, many times, the step well is lit up with tiny oil lamps in a nice pattern which gives a grand feel to the entire structure. However, since we were quite late, I couldn't witness all of this yesterday. Maybe some other time.

There are some cafes nearby where one can enjoy meals while looking over/across the step well. Overall, an interesting place which can be maintained better.

One of best place to enjoy evening when there are kids jumping from top into the step well, during our visit it was not crowded, we spent around 40-45 minutes watching from all angels and taking photographs and videos. It’s a step which was recently found and has become a prime spot for photography, a must visit when you are in old city.

Ambience is worth watching specially if you are fond on historical places. The architecture is really unique and how deep the water level was made . It is really deep but still was considered as a private pool for queens.

The steps and the construction needs repair and maintenance. Good to visit in morning and evening.

Best place for photoshoot. Can be visited for max 30 minutes. But if you love swimming more time can be spent but u need to get your own caution for swimming as water is extremely deep.

A highly popular place among locals. Step well that goes quite deep. As long as you stay away from the steps filled with algae, you are fine. Also a great photography spot for geometry and composition (although the sun light can be tricky at places). We saw a bunch of students from NIFT shooting a project for their college. Overall a pleasant place to pass 1-2 hours nearby Ghantaghar.

We visited this place in morning around 11am and I believe, It's famous for pre wedding shoot and photography as some were happening there. There was not much crowd. It was peaceful and I was glad to see the symmetry from all sides. I would suggest to come in early morning or evening to spend time in peace and get lost in your own thoughts. There are some cafes & restaurant also near by where you can have your morning breakfast and evening snacks.

One of the best place to visit.

If you have enough time and hungry then go into cafe exactly opposite of this place to capture best view.

You can find some fishes also in the water. But the overall view of the place is amazing.

Beautiful step well located right in the middle of Jodhpur city. 5mins away from Ghanta ghar. There are many hostels nearby. This is the only step well in which one can walk down the steps right upto the water level. Very peaceful place to sit and chat with friends. There are many big fish in the pond which one can occasionally see surfacing.. I hope people will keep the place neat and clean.
