Visited Mar 2022. One more vav in Gujarat being used as a garbage dump ! Really sad. It was supposed to have been cleaned in 2020. Today it's full of garbage. What does it say about us Indians and the esp the people in Mahesana ?! In any other country something like this would have been treasured and looked after really well. And, the area around the entrance of the vav has been 'land grabbed' - you cannot reach there it's been walled off. Five stars for the vav and zero stars for the people of Mahesana. Pics attached.

That place is historical but there are some garbage so that historical places should be management.
