Great place to see heritage of architecture in Gujarat. Detailings are so amazing. Must visit site. It's deep into the ground, when you entering into the ground, you will start slowly unveiling the layers below the ground and it leads towards the main water body. Spectacular..!

Beautiful place, nicely maintained. It's just a well but four floors down. Architecture work on the wall and pillar is good. Good amount of lighting but there is a strong smell of pigeon droppings. They have nicely maintained lawn with old baniyaan tree. Toilet facilities available.

One of good places to visit around Ahmedabad. Recommend to visit in early evening. There is ticket Rs 25 for Indians and Rs. 300 for foreign nationals. Earlier there was no entry charges and so not well maintained... however now well maintained.
Tickets also can be booking using digital platform we could not as the website was not responsive. So had to pay cash at the counter.

Great historic place to visit. Amazing architecture which is well preserved. This place is underrated. The road to access is sort of dirty and lacks signage. The government should clean the surrounding area and promote this site.

One of the few heritage sites near Ahmedabad. Go early in the morning to avoid rush and better environment if you are interested in photography. A few hours should be enough if you want to really spend time to take pictures otherwise and hour with the family is a good time to enjoy the old relics.

Recommend to visit in early evening. There is ticket fee of Rs 25 for Indians and Rs. 300 for foreigners so it is now well maintained.
No digital payment available so i had to pay in cash only.

I think tickets can be booked online through website.

Absolutely amazing place. The carvings, intricate designs etc. are to be seen to be believed. The architecture, the thought process behind building the Vav is worth admiring. Also, the fact that our ancestors had the vision and thought process, idea of water conservations, water harvesting etc. makes me proud and a fan of the ancient Indian knowledge system.
