In the era of Sher Shah, the herd of royal elephants quenched thirst from this well. Locals say that the condition of this well was fine till five decades ago. Apart from this, there used to be big ponds in this area. In the Afghan period, herds of royal elephants used to have fun in these ponds. During the summer days when the water of the ponds was dirty or lacked water, elephants quenched thirst from this well. But times changed, the atmosphere changed. Now the elephants are no more, the pond is also not left. Slowly, silt is getting deposited in this well. Apart from this, debris or other solid waste is being dumped indiscriminately. Ghats are made for land in the well.

This well, which is about 20 meters in diameter, has pucca ghats from the west direction for elephants to descend. The position of this ghat is also in bad condition with a gradual downward slope towards the well from a distance of about 50 meters. There is a large door near the well where the slope is ending. The level of water at the bottom of the door remained intact throughout the year. Inside the well, four clay pots have been poured. Congregations have been made around the well, while porous slabs of stone have been removed inside it. In which a bamboo-bat was used to cover the well as per the need. Apart from this, if the elephant's feet slipped and fell to drink water, then these stone rings were used to remove them. Due to this, the surrounding groundwater level was also maintained.
