Shiva Daul, ( Shiva Temple) Gaurisagar is situated at the North East side of Gaurisagar tank. It about 10km West of Sivasagar by the side of NH-37. Shiva Daul, Gaurisagar was dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Daul was built by Queen Phuleswari Konwari wife of Ahom King Swargadeo Shiva Singha during the year (1722-1731). It is also called Bor Daul of Gaurisagar.
Daul was highly ornate with Hindu motifs God and Goddesses figures, flowers were engraved on the outer wall .
Annually, during the festival season Shivratri were celebrated here.
Shiva Daul is currently under the maintenance of ASI Assam Circle.
