This navaratna Shiv temple is one of the notable temples in Chandannagar having rich terracotta work. But many of the terracotta designs have been ruined due to lack of maintenance. The condition of the temple is also dilapidated, trees have grown in several parts of the temple.

The temple have some good blocks of terracotta. Easily accessible if anybody wants to visit via cycling or motorbike.
