Boro Maa Temple...
Tallest Maa Kali Idol at Burdwan, made of eight metals is worshiped at Baroma temple. Meaning of Baroma is 'mother of all', the biggest mother. Ma Mahaakaali's earliest appearance is that of a destroyer of evil forces.

A very good place ..... The architecture of the statue of goddesses makes me think about the experience of the 90's people.............. A very good place to spent time and to relax and if you are a devotee of goddess kali then you must have visit to that holy place. ....... Well that's it

The temple is situated on a buzy narrow road which disturbs the devotees to worship the Goddess Kali in a peaceful mind. Otherwise, it's Ok.

"Boroma"....the name itself is enough to bow one's head in reverence to the famous Kali temple of Birhata, Bardhaman. This is the most famous and most respected Kali temple of Burdwan and one of Burdwan's main attractions. This gigantic Devi stracture, with its grandeur and glamour attracts all and everybody. This temple is also famous as Kalibajar er Kali Mandir as the place is in Kalibajar....a bajar for Ma Kali. The temple complex is small but nicely decorated and managed. Daily Pujas are being performed here by the Kali Mandir Trust .Aroti and Bhog are two main attractions beside Protima. Without a visit to" Boroma",a visit of Burdwan is incomplete.

One of the most active and visted Maa Kali Temple in Burdwan. The idol of Maa is decorated in ornaments made of eight costly and rare metals. A must visit place.
