This Mandir is situated near Sarbamangala Mandir ,the well known Mandir and landmark of Burdwan town ,one of the satipith of maa Durga according to hindu mythology .Traditionally Sarbajonin Durgapuja is organised in this Mandir every year by local people apart from that a children park is located inside the Mandir enclosure.
