Due to certain ancient and religious connectivity Uttarakhand remains always a attractive center. There are many temples in Uttarakhand which are popular due to their specialty . Among those one is Vimleshwar Mahadev , situated at the top of Varunavat Parvat. According to Skand Puran lord Prasuram praised lord Shiva at this place to cool down his anger. Lord shiva was pleased with Lord Prashuram's prayer and according to Prashuram's wish decided to stay at this place in the form of a Shivlinga . Till then this place is famous by the name of Vimleshwar Mahadev. This is believed that those who come here their all wishesh are fulfilled . It's a beautiful temple between the trees of Devdar and Pine . The location of the temple is also very amazing . The temple's structure is compared with kedarnath temple . Hence it's like mini Kedarnath. It is approximately 12km from uttarakashi by motor way and then aprox 50m on foot .
