Surkanda Mata Mandir

This temple is awesome ..... It is one of the finest and beautiful place to visit in Uttarakhand. It is surroundedy many trees and really had a great view . Apart from this, it is spiritually also very well known. As it is located at top , so you have walk up the mountain a bit, but I m sure u will enjoy that too. Those having really very difficulty in walking can take horse ride too. Talking about it's interior and exterior, so they are also well maintained.

Beautiful, scenic and divine place. You can actually see Kedarnath range of mountains from here in the distance. Reasonably well managed with the tram/cable car.

Do come to the court once and take care of your mind and body.

Superb views from here to see the Himalayas. Need to improve the flight of stairs from the road to the cable car place

It was a pleasant and amusing experience visiting there , it is a temple of goddess sati where the head of the sati fall off when she was unconscious.
It's a holy place with a holy vibe ...

But do not go on the weekends or occassions as the roads got too much jam during these ....
Otherwise the place is so heavenly

Well, this is a temple dedicated to Goddess Durga and is situated in Devidhar, Badshahithaul (not to be confused with Surkanda devi temple at khadukhaal)
