Story goes that king of kota Rajasthan had come to visit uttrakhand kingdom and married his daughter with the king in here and later the daughter got dreams of kota Devi which ,originally belonged to Kota later 3 idols were discovered in the present location of the Temple.

Mata Raja Rajeswari Kutti Devi temple is situated in a nice serene location on the hill slope of Uttarkashi. Since only a few tourists visit this temple, you can enjoy the pristine nature and offer prayer to Mata.

Only cars can reach this temple from the riverside route.
