It is very beautiful group of about 108 temples dedicated to different Hindu gods. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlings of Lord SHiva hence one of the most visited temple from people all across the country. The place is surrounded with dense Deodar forest which is also known as to be the largest Deodar forest of Uttarakhand. This place is very cold. You will find Badrinath and Kedarnath temple here. This place is about 30 km from Almora. One visiting this place can also visit Chitai Mandir/Gwaljyu Mandir and Lipu Udyar (ancient rock painting).

Morning 5:30 first arti take place so you have to reach one day before. You may take room from around the hotel it's good, in off season you may get room around 800 however same time in season it's rate goes double.
It's old story that when pandava were going to swarg they found this Temple. It's has approx 128 small and big temple.
There is one tree called shiv and Parvati which root is one and separate in two I have attached this pic also.

Sclupture work on this naga shalli shiv temple is great along with the river soaring music will feel you like a heaven. With all this you can enjoy your food here with nice under forest devdar trees.These are ancient and revered shrines, Shakti Peeth if you like which the people of Kumaon throng to and consider sacred. Even for the non devout the architecture, the sculptures and sheer serenity beside a dwindling mountain stream make for a visit.always an awesome experience of visiting Jageshwar Dham. This was my fourth visit with family. Each time we get to know new development. Here are few of points from my side
1. You are not allowed to touch 5 different shivling in the temple. 2. We were fortunate to be part of Arti in the evening and it was a mesmerising experience. 3. We got to see Ganesha picture coming out of tree just behind the temple 4. We were able to go to Kuber temple this time. It was always closed for us in our last three visits. 5. We know our Pandit ji for long now and our pooja was arranged and coordinated very well. Thanks to Pandit Ji. 6. We were able to visit Vridh Jageshwar, Dandeshwar and RinrMukteshwar apart from usual Jageshwar Dham.
Over all it was a wonderful experience this time with the grace of GOD.
