Nice atmosphare in holy temple of lord shiv, this is a old & trust of himalyan villager's. It is beautiful campus & there is a lots of langoor monkey in forest & there is a more than 100 years old tree stand in front of temple.

The priest was really nice. He offered me lunch with him too. I had a good conversation with him.
The temple is also in a very quiet village and you will surely be able to relax here

If someone is visiting jageshwar dham, one should definitely visit this temple. Peaceful atmosphere. There is also langar being organized here everyday. One can also contribute food stuff for the langar food. It's just few kms from jageshwar dham.

An avatar of Sankara Mahadev...JHANKAR SAIM is respected and worshipped greatly in Kumauni culture...and Jhankar Saim Temple, 40 km from Almora and 10 km from famous JAGESHWAR DHAM is probably the only Jhankar Saim Temple of India. The temple is neat and clean... regular pujas are being performed here. A visit here will surely transport you to a higher world.

There is a story about this temple once lord shiva was doing his tapasya then some demons came to stop him .Then God Jhanker Saim come into being as Trinetra and sends his ganas to kill the demons.
