Bhumiya Baba Mandir

Bhumia dev temple is what people named it as. One of the oldest heritage what we can say to this temple. Faiths of many people's is what making this the most visible pilgrim stoppage their at Masi, Almora district. Temple is filled with the bells of devotees, which they had put up on the walls once their wishes were completed. Crossed Masi on my recent bike trip through Kumaon. Masi is a very beautiful place with beautiful fields full of ready to harvest crop of wheat at the time of April.
About Bhumiya Temple, Bhumiya word is a local word that resembles the "Guardian of the Land" and thus an important diety.

Ancient Temple of Bhumia Dev (Baba), in Masi, Almora, Uttrakhand. People used to wish here their wants and perform Puja when their wishes are fulfilled. A sacred place, to visit.
