A must visit temple. It is around 25 km from Mathura and transportation available very easily from Mathura. It is the start point of Govardhan parikrama. But poor management, no one is here to manage queue for Darshan. The street infront of temple is heavily trafficked.

As the name stated whatever comes to your mind, that's not true. I thought "govardhan temple" must be on a plateau but nothing was the same. It's a good place to spend time with peace as there is no rush. But still if you visit then be a devotee and enlighten the soul.

Govardhan Temple is the starting point of your Govardhan Parikarma yatra and here in the morning the worship is done by milk and in the evening you'll see the shringar darshan of Shri Giriraj Ji Maharaj. It's the awesome religious place with having the history with Shri Krishna Leela
