One of the oldest, prestigious temples of Ayodhya having great architecture. It is said that, this KANAK BHAWAN was gifted to Mata Sita by Mataa Kaikeyi, in her "Muh Dikhayi".
At present time, there are three vigraha(विग्रह) of Mata Sita and Prabhu Sri Rama in the garbhagriha( गर्भगृह).
There is a huge angan for sitting and Praying. There is a small temple of Hanumaan Ji, at the periphery of the angan. Outside the temple, there is an Idol of Shabri, having a basket on her head standing at the mid of a decorative fountain. Its "Phool bangle ki jhanki" is a very famous. I think someone visiting Ayodhya should definitely visit Kanak Bihari Sarkar.

One of the best place to sit , relax and enjoy your day in the courtyard of this Bhawan. Loved it. You'll be mesmerized by the beauty of this place. Huge area, beautiful painting and colour of this place is really amazing. And when you see the beautiful face of God and goddess inside, you feel calm. Really amazing. 😃

The Kanak Bhawan is established towards the northeastern corner of the Ram Janmabhoomi in Tulsi Nagar. Constructed in 1891, this temple is also known as Sone-ka-Ghar. It is a holy site dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Rama and his wife, Goddess Sita.

Kanak Bhawan, also meaning Golden Palace, cites three golden-crowned idols of the two gods under a silver roof in the sanctum santorum (Garbagriha). It is believed that this shrine was gifted to Rama and Sita by the former's stepmother, Kaikeyi.

Kanak Bhavan which was given by Queen Kaikeyi to Mata Sita after her marriage. In Ayodhya which is bigger than Dasharatha Bhawan.

As you walk past the Dashrath mahal , there’s a right cut with a large board guiding towards the Kanak mahal . You have to walk through the RJB zone to visit all these places as the vehicles are not allowed there. At present time, there are three vigraha(विग्रह) of Mata Sita and Prabhu Sri Rama in the garbhagriha( गर्भगृह).

Here is the statue of God shree Ram and Mata Sita and the architecture of this temple is adorable. I have visited here i feel so awesome here. This place is so neat and clean.

There is such a belief of the devotees that the sight of the Deity of Ram and Sita is here..

Upon designed renovation during Vikramaditya's reign, the present site was further entirely revamped by Vrish Bhanu Kunwari. This Bundela-styled temple is currently managed by the Sri Vrishbhan Dharma Setu Trust Private

As I was told by the locals Kanak mahal runs a kitchen with minimal prices for the poor and one can get the parshad by paying up the price . The architecture was good and one thing which was common in most of the places I visited in Ayodhya was the grand entrances to the temples .
