Devarahi Mandir

This temple is frequently visited by people of Deoria and this is beleived to be a holy place but beside all other things it needs attention in cleaness of pond and near by areas. It will be more sacred nd holy if clean .

I had a great time in devarahi mandir.i used to go there often but now a days I visit this temple minimum twice in a year. I am a devotee of Mata Rani since my childhood so it's obvious that I would love to visit Mata Rani temple every time I would get a chance.
I do prayer and sometimes wish to goddess Durga. This time I got mata Rani ( goddess Durga) visit was quite easy. I mean to say that there were less crowd and no disturbance. Me and one of my friends bhabhi did prayer and worship of what is dargah lord Ram Sita and Lakshman lord Shiv and maa Kali very well. We got Prasad from the pujari worshipper of the temple.
This temple developed very much, and has a huge compound and a small pond.
There is no demerit in this temple compound but the road connecting to temple is still in worse condition.

Devarahi Temple, Deoria - This is a famous 'Durga Temple', situated on Kasaya Road near Somnath Temple, it is a Goddess Durga Temple where it is believed that whatever you keep in mind, you see Goddess Durga, It comes true. The natural landscape here has a different shade in the image of this popular temple. By sitting in this temple, you feel a deep peace inside your mind.

This temple is the main temple of Deoria district.This temple is on the northern bypass of the city which connects Kashaya ,, Gorakhpur Road.There is a pond, gaushala, yagyashala in the premises, there is a facility of commissions for marriages, mundan, other programs. .

Very beautiful and peaceful place the devrahi Mandir have a different and special position in our city Deoria.
Our ancestors used to say that the deoria name of this city was given at name of maa devrahi.
