Kali Paltan Mandir

This temple is nearby cantonment area. Hence, you need to spend a bit if you're planning to reach there by public transport. In the temple premises, shoe keeping facility is available. It is big and splendid, a place to remember. Try visiting here by 3 or 4 pm because at this time less crowd is there

Kali paltan is also known as Augharnath temple. I always come here.
And during shrawan month every one should come here.

Yesterday I had an opportunity to visit Temple performed darshan. Very lovely place. Also visited the first freedom fight Stupa (smarak).

Temple is situated in Meerut cantt, 10 mins drive from Meerut cantt and Meerut city Railway station. Mention by Army and beautifully constructed. Har Har Mahadev

During British rule, the Indian soldiers in the regiment were called the 'Kali Platoon' (black army). Since the temple was located close to the soldiers' quarters, it came to be called as the 'Kali Paltan Mandir', which eventually went on to become a launchpad for the Great Revolution of 1857 ,,clean and 🟢 hindu🕉️ temble 🙏🙏
