The temple is really really nice with an ancient touch.
But please arrange some proper maintenance. Dust everywhere which leads to dust allergy. Also apply some coolent pain on floors to avoid the sun heat while walking. Apart from that everything is awesome. Group of temples are a must visit.

Ancient temple and Shakti peetam. Not much commercial elements to have darshanam. Full of open place and lots of small temples to visit. Best part here is numberings in all temples and routes that guide you to visit all temples without any confusion. Looks as if it needs attention from officials to make it developed to have more devotees for darshan of ammavaaru 🙏🙏

Good architecture and sculpture. Temple itself is very good relaxing power centre. Guaranteed for peace of mind. Expect for the goats which pestering you to give what ever food you are having, the whole place is of some mystique and thrilling sensation.

This is a prominent Hindu temple located on the banks of River Tungabhadra and dedicated to Sri Jogulamba and it is one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas in the Country and known as Dakshin Kashi. The principal deities in the temple are Sri Jogulamba and Sri Balabrahmeshwara. This temple was built by Badami Chalukyas and the
amazing architecture mesmerizes the devotees.
Highly recommended for a wonderful spiritual experience.

A powerful place of devotion. This is the only place where you the goddess idol appears aged and that is the main reason of importance of this place.

It has been really hurting thay there had been been some wrong things done by insanse people like - who demolished the stone sculptures on the temple building which date back to many thousands of years.

There has been an illegal construction by these bloody insane people. I am not pointing out on a religion or caste but on few insane pigs. I am sharing the real images now.

Beutiful temple to see and worship. But the road in the village to the temple was very congested.Worst maintenance of the temple and surroundings. Such a shame to the Telangana government. The government needs to take proper action to preserve our great ancient history and wealth.

Temple seems to be little less maintained. Construction of queue rows with metal and close by houses to the temple has resulted in very low peaceful time that can be spent in a temple. I wish it was more free from all of the cages.

The temple located at the banks of the Tungabhadra river is one of the 18 Shakti Peetas and a very prominent place.
It is here that the upper teeth of Godess Sati is believed to have fallen. It is in this temple complex you will find 9 Shiva temples.
There's ample parking space available outside with a minimal fee. The temple complex is a bit complex indeed as you find yourself wondering which way to go next. You will need to ask the temple folks to navigate through the complex. Don't forget to visit the Kanchi Kamatchi temple located in one of the corners at the temple.
The colourful gopuram is where the main diety, Godess Jogulamba is housed. Each of the pillars in the temple has idols of the 18 Shakti Peetas inscribed for reference.
The temple is open from 7am to 1pm then again from 2pm to 8.30pm.
