This is the only temple in Mancherial which is said to be self proclaimed. There is also a lake known as 'pochamma cheruvu' which added beauty to this temple and this place. Recently govt has developed this place a bit. Now it has became a good spot for walking, jogging and relaxing. But still there is lot to develop like maintenance of the temple which is very bad, facilities etc
