Pushkarini \ Koneru \ Temple Tank

Very nice and peaceful place

This kolanu, the scared water place is just near to main temple. Is great in size, built long ago, has steps leading down to water across the pillar slab structure on three sides of pushkarini. Steep down water with platform to do necessary rituals as according to seasons and festivals.

300yr old plus step well - beautiful setting

Ancient temple of the 7th century. Very sacred place and revered by the locals. Well managed system in place for darshan. The courtyard is spacious and peaceful. There is also an ancient pond area which is not functioning more as a pre wedding shoot area. Gets quite crowded because of its popularity. Parking space is big but may run out on very busy days. Not very far from Statue of Equality.

It’s a good place to visit for casual outing. There is this Koneru and temple to visit.

Would suggest to visit over weekday, than weekend. it’s flooded with pre-wedding photographer and keep requesting to move out of their frames.

The way to the temple is good and plenty of car parking available.

The tourists should maintain some decency not to litter the place... Rest we can't do anything about water inside the koneru as it's natural process...

Good place for photoshoots and the temple is 12th century old. Must visit and take blessings of the lord Rama.

Beautiful temple, best location for wedding shoots.
