Hidden treasure located in Vikarabad forest area, unexplored and best weekend gateway near Hyderabad is in the middle of the forest and a must-visit place. The drive is very scenic and enjoyable. It's an ancient temple but unfortunately no proper care to maintain or restore. I wish the authorities will take the of the same.

If you are planning for a long drive with small devotional touch and interested to cook or eat outside (own food), plz plan to Damagundam Ramalingesaswara Swamy Temple.
Around 77 Kms from Hyderabad, all the way you feel a bit lovely drive...
There are some narrow roads, for which you can drive all kind of Cars & Bikes. The atmosphere is superb at this weather as the rains may disrupt the journey if it's in rainy season.
The temple is very old and powerful... Ramalingesaswara Swamy visit will definately bring you good luck.. Swamy Hanuma temple just beside the main temple, also the powerful one.
There was a Bell, which was very famous to make sound with Om chanting.. however, due to security reasons, it's been shifted to safety place.
A small Konearu which is adding superb view for the temple, is situated at the temple premises. Local people usually have bath here.. but please do not try as we are not sure about the depth of the water. You have a small path to reach to the centre of the kolanu, where You can have darshan of Swamy vaaru with a great a deviney pleasure...
There are few Marigold(Marrichettu) trees, which are there from so many years. You can find very big trees, where you even can cook and eat. There won't be any hotel, if planning, please take all the utensils or you can take all the cooked food a d eat under the green forest trees.
If you have some time, you can surf in the forest with your gear on.
I had an unscheduled visit, though I had a pleasant and wonderful time with my family friends and I wish I take my family and spend a day there.

A hidden gem with a deep history. Nested right in the middle of Damagundam forest. Its a scenic drive from the main road of Vikarabad. Located in a serene location. Dont miss it if you are driving to Vikarabad.
