This temple is 800 year old and under the control of Sri Sringeri Jagadguru Mahasansthan, Dakshinaamnaaya Sarada Peetham. Deity is made of a single stone of 15 feet. Daily Sevas are performed regularly & Annual Festivals observed on Palguna Bahula Chavithi, Panchimi & Shasti. Special Seva performed on Bhadrapada Bahula Amaavaasya( 50 Kg Turmeric paste applied to the deity.)

Huge fort walls surround this ancient temple. Which is currently being rebuilt and renovated. Godess durga bhavani diety is almost ten feet tall. As you enter this place you can literally feel positive vibes and peace all around. It's very calming to the mind and soothing for the eyes. Sprawling within couple of acres a must visit temple for devotees of godess durga. It seems it's an eight hundred year old temple. You need to enter through the fort gateway and park you vehicle. If you wish you can also perform vehicle puja. Puja items are available outside the fort. Timings are from morning 6 a.m. to evening 6 p.m. situated at Ismail Khan pet village it looks like a pilgrimage centre. No steps. You can just walk into the temple. Senior citizens can walk or move in their wheelchair comfortably. Ample parking space. Must visit temple.

Still wondering that being a local person, I missed to see this temple for 30 years. Very old and historical temple in Ismailkhanpet. You will be mesmerised when you see the idol of Goddess Durga Devi. The speciality of this temple, Deity is made of a single stone with a unique height of 15 feet and people say that this is the 2nd biggest Durga Bhavani maatha Idol in the world.
Really felt blessed by visiting the temple. Many film and serial shootings regularly happen here. The boundaries of the temple seems to be an historical place with four burjs. Now the they are expanding the temple area as the flow of devotees increasing day by day.
Especially during the Dasara Navaratri days, the flow will be very high.
