You Must Visit These Place , Beautiful Architecture Design Built by kakatiya Kingdom. Located 65Km from Warangal. and Near To Ramappa Temple

Kota Gullu were constructed by King Ganapatideva, a ruler of the famous Kakatiya dynasty, during the period 1199–1260 AD.
Kota Gullu comprises about 20 temples, all varying in size and design that exhibits the marvelous architectural work by Kakatiyas.
Temples are constructed within a double walled stone enclosure. Of all these temples, the main temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the most admirable. There is yet another temple that is dedicated to Shiva, to the north of the main temple, that looks alike in appearance. The other shrine of the temple consists of Garbhagriha and Antarala.
The most striking feature of the temples is the Sabha mandapa porches. Two madanikas are seen on the northern side of the portico. The eastern and southern porticos are embellished with several mythical figures of Gaja Kesari, half human-half lion form riding on elephant, and horse-head lion back on elephant.

Not a very popular destination but if visiting Ramappa temple make sure you visit this ASI site.

Located about 10 KM from Ramappa has some amazing stone idols of Bhairav which were found during excavations and are kept our in a uncertain garden. There are about 9 or so amazing master pieces. Some are again vandalized.

Out of the 22 kota Gullus only 4 are standing but in a bad shape.

The main temple belongs to Lord Siva and is in utter ruins. Some forms of restoration will help attracting visitors.

Place is being used for wedding shoots and probably birthday parties and this must be stopped by ASI.

There are no wash rooms around this place.

Believed to have been built by the kings of the Kakatiya dynasty in the 12th & 13th centuries
I wouldn't have known about this place, had it not been for the cab driver who assured me that it was a place worth visiting
And it was really a marvellous experience
It is a small but compact complex of several temples, all of them now in ruins.
Most pleasing, however, is the fact that regular worship is going on at the main temple inside the complex and a priest comes daily to perform the poojas.
There is however, hope in a plaque that was places there, that the temples have been earmarked for restoration. That would be a welcome step, as I personally found the workmanship to be very intricate.

Temple is very much ruined. It has similar architecture style of ramappa temple which is nearby. Very peaceful and less explored place. This must be on one's travel itinerary while traveling to ramappa temple.
