Small, but beautiful temple for Shree Raghavendra Swamy in Ooty. It is located in Bombay Castle, just 2 km from bus terminus. Good ambience and very silent inside the temple. Ideal place for meditation. Very few place in India have temple for Shree Raghavendra. Ooty is one among them. Raghavendra Swamy Jayanti celebrated every year in a big way here. The Dhandayudhapani Murugan temple is a good place with all the tranquil and spiritual atmosphere. It is near to the famous Ooty Rose garden . I went to this place with my wife and baby. The route to this place is not comfortable for any kind of rides. But once you reach you will be happy to see the temple just behind the grand hill with the golden Muruga statue grabbing your attention. Once you sit down and take few minutes of silent prayer then you will surely feel much relaxed.That was our experience.
The pwd / muncipality authorities should undertake necessary periodic maintenance work of the road.
Autos will charge anything around Rs.200 from market . Unless you get the rate there is chances that you end up paying more money.

Temple is so famous for its Thursday Puja. The temple celebrate his festival once in a year. No parking facility available have to park your vehicle on the Road
