Visited with family on the occasion of Mahashivrathri. Unlike city temples, it was not crowded. We had a very blissful darshan of Lord Shiva and Bhrama in this ancient temple. There are numerous magnificent Shiva lingams and a huge idol of Lord Bhrama (with 3 heads visible from the front), who is considered very powerful here. The goddess shrine is located outside in the praharam, and has a lush green garden nearby. I was told there are several Lingam shrines in the garden, but due to construction work, we were not permitted to enter.
The temple is very clean and nicely maintained. There are a few stray monkeys, so be cautious while handling food items. There are lot of flower stalls outside the temple that sell Pooja items. The drive from Trichy to the temple is also very smooth and a huge car parking is available right outside the temple. Overall a very satisfactory visit to the temple.

One of the most peaceful temples I have ever visited. Not much crowded and a beautiful garden with an eye catching pond.
