There are lots of parigaram poojas also done here that you can pay for and have them done. The premises of the main deity is surrounded by lots of other types of Ganesha with each one responsible for solving a problem. The board above each of them details what problem the Lord Ganesha can solve and the mantra to read for that. The surrounding area of the Gopuram is spacious and calming for the mind when the gentle breeze brushes against us. There is a Chandler tree that dances gracefully in the wind and is beautiful to see. There is a beautiful river next to the temple where some people even bathe.

Shrine is situated very near to Vannarapettai by pass road and a short distance from Tirunelveli Railway station. Road to the temple is so narrow, respective authorities should consider convenience of the pilgrimages
