This Sri Adhinadha Perumal koil is very famous and one among 108 Vaishu Divadesams.
Easily identifiable on the main road of Thiruchendur- Thirunelveli highway.
Nammazhvar birth place - Avathara Sthalam.
Inside the temple we can see the Tamarind Tree which is the actual penance place of Sri Nammazhvar.
Very old tree (more than 5000 years).
This tree has lots of miracles with itself, coz of Nammazhvar and 4000 Divya Prabhandam.
Sri Ramar Sannadhi is very auspicious one.
Good parking is available.
Must visit place once you go to nearby places.

This Divya desam is very special to people like me who worship Nammazhwar for his wonderful Thiruvoymozhi Pasurams that sequentially take one through the step by step on the Spiritual ladder putting one at Vaikuntham (Self-Realisation) at the end of his 1000 Pasurams. Under the watchful eyes of Aadhinathar and Thayar, our saint Nammazhwar stay put inside the base of the famous five headed Tamarind tree for 16 years (representing aadhisheshan) to compose the Pasurams that were taken notes by Madhurakavi. Sitting at the Manadapam vehing the Tamarind tree and reciting Madhrakavi Aazhwar's "Kanninun siru thambu" ten songs gave me peace.

A must visit place for the spiritual seekers.

A very beautiful ancient temple. One of the temple in Nava Thirupathi. I visit this temple whenever I get a chance. I really love the sculptures. There is a tamarind tree inside the temple called "உறங்கா புளி"(sleepless tamarind) because the leaves not closing even in night time. 3 Elephants there in the temple.

Must visit temple !!

One of the Navathirupathi Temples

Vishnu is worshipped as Aathi Nathar and his consorts Lakshmi as Aathi Natha valli and Kurugoor valli

Offering prayer at this temple is equivalent to offering prayer to celestial body Jupiter(Guru).
