As per history the lord Amman requested people not to build the top roof peak for her deity
It is situated near to Woraiyur bus stop
Please go after 12.30pm if u wanat to visit. because they have closed for decorating Amman Statue

No bus facility to reach close to vekkaliyamman temple however auto facility is available from urayur bus stop. Minimum charge INR 50 to reach temple from bus stop. Must to visit while planning a trichy and to get blissful view of amma dharishanam. Very neat and clean. Good view of amman dharishnam. Overall we satisfied has family visit to this temple.

Must visit if you are devoti of Mother Kali... . Write down your wishes on a patra provided by temple for Rs. 10.Tie it in the temple, the Goddess will fulfill it. Lovely paintings and very beautiful temple. Strong vibes. Kali is under open sky.. In open without roof top, inside the temple.

Very powerful goddess temple and famous temple in woraiyur Trichy.. the temple is very well maintained, it is very clean... There is parking available behind the temple, however the road to the temple for the city is thru narrow roads.. very sacred goddess and very satisfied with the prayers
