Maha Periyava Temple - Perur

New temple to the town. Kanchi Maha periyavar statue looks very nice! But cleanliness could be maintained a little.

A small temple dedicated to Kanchi Acharya Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi, also known as Mahaperiyava. Very lively statue of Mahaperiyava with a simply beautiful statue of Kamakshi Amman on the wall is worth seeing. There is a fairly big hall with status of Adi Shankara, Mahaperiyava etc. The top floor has a veda pathshala. One can buy coffee table book on Mahaperiyava and paduka with the words satyam and advaitam written on them.

This is the Only Temple for Mahaperiyava in Coimbatore,Consecrated last June.Just behind Perur Temple.All Mahaperiyava Devotees throng particularly for Anusham.Lot of Anmiga Activities!

Moorthy(Idol) of Periyava is natural in the sannidhanam. Kamachi Amman idol is in the front of Periyava sannidhi. Great.

Timings 7.00Am to 11.00Am as on display (Morning hours).
All types of transport are available.
Everyone should visit the blessings of Maha Periyava.
Big hall noticed to conduct functions & celebrations, inside the premises. Peaceful place for doing meditation.
