Amazing ambience in an outdoor setting in Coimbatore. The only temple in Coimbatore where dogs are allowed to roam free anywhere in the temple. Really powerful visualisation of the dirty during the 'Vellattom' and Thiruvappana held here!

I went today with my family for darshan of Lord Muthappan. The temple is located in a secluded part, which makes it a calm and serine place. You feel divinity when visiting the temple. There is ample space for parking 🅿️ your vehicles 🚗🚘🚙🚖🚕🏎️🏍️🛵🚲🛴, but it is not covered parking. Your vehicles will be out in the sun ☀️🌞🌟 and rain ⛈️🌦️🌧️🌨️. It is not exactly at Vadavalli, but in the interior neighborhood on the way to Thondamuthur. The temple is based on the same temple which is located in Kannur, Kerala. A good place to go with your family and friends.

A temple similar to Parassinikadavu Muthappan Temple in Kannur, Kerala. The Pooja and other rituals also as per Parassinikadavu temple. Muthappan (Siva) will be available of all first Sunday of the month. Both Muthappan will be available on New year, Anniversary (Prathishta Finan) and other few occasions. Devotees can meet Muthappan of the day they are visiting. The same is controlled by tokens which are free. Devotees can participate in Group Vellattu an offering that is happening on every first Sunday by paying Rs.1000 (at present). You can also book it entirely on other days, but the cost I think is about Rs.35000. There were other offerings available for which we can contact temple for details. A small and good temple.

The place and ambience makes us feel very peaceful...if u r visiting the temple for first time try to come on vellaatam too it will be very nice...it's like v get the same feeling of muthappan temple in kannur
