This small (Kubera Lingam) Temple is located on the 'GIRIVALAM' ROAD of Thiruvannamalai Sivan ANNAMALAIYAR temple. Calm and peaceful atmosphere is there. The GURUKKAL in this temple is very friendly and courteous. I have taken a photo of a board displayed at this temple, which describes the 12 'RASI s' (ராசிகள்) and their corresponding navalingam.

Lingams) which one encounters during Girivalam in Thiruvannamalai. Almost all of the devotees, who come here for circumambulation, worship here by soaring coins and currencies on this lingam. Worship of this lingam grants economical growth, and promotes peace of mind. Kubera Lingam has the North as its direction. It is located on the Girivalam pathway before entering the town and a few hundred metres before the Panchamukham.

Kubera lingam in Thiruvannamalai is the seventh of the eight Lingams (Ashta Lingams) which one encounters during Girivalam in Thiruvannamalai.

Worship of this lingam grants economical growth, and promotes peace of mind.

Kubera Lingam has the North as its direction.

The Kubera Lingam has Lord Brihaspati (Guru or Jupiter) as its dominant graham.

It is believed that Lord Kubera came to this place to worship Arunachala in order to maintain his wealth and prosperity. Hence a Shiva lingam was installed and consecrated at a point exactly north from the mountain.
